Discovery Energy Utility Audits (deaudits.com) is an independent, contingency-based utility bill audit and Utility Cost Intelligence firm for multi-site commercial and industrial organizations across the US and Canada, founded in 2000 in South Jordan, Utah.
What we do and why
Utility bills are governed by tariffs that differ by utility, state and service address. For a company with dozens or hundreds of locations, errors go undetected for years because each bill looks plausible on its own.
We review those bills, correct what is wrong, and give the organization ongoing Utility Cost Intelligence across its portfolio. Our focus is electricity and natural gas for commercial and industrial clients.
Since 2000 we have audited tens of thousands of utility accounts, manage millions of MWh of electricity and millions of Dth of natural gas for clients, and have returned millions of dollars in refunds and tens of millions in recurring annual savings.
